Swedish Blog - 17th July 2007 - From the Gaffer - Dmitri Halajko

All is good in Sweden. Weather is a bit strange, really hot or pouring with rain. Because some of the pitches are flooded the U19s had to play the 1st game on a gravel and sand pitch!!

U19s played Toma Hallestad from Sweden in the first game on Monday and won 9-0 Goal scorers-Kate 3, Dani, Morgs, Rosie, OG, Toni and Abi.
Then today we played Sandama BK and won 4-0 goals -Kate, Hannah, Toni and Morgs.

The under 17 won 2-0 on Monday against Nodinge SK Goal- Sinend Redford and Toni Smith (Toni also missed pen). This was a close game a Nikita had to pull off a great save a 1-0 to keep us in front and today they beat kungalvs 6-0.

So both teams are top of the group and we havnt let a goal in!!!! the u19s have 2 more group games they need to win and the U17s 1 then it will be the knockout stages.

After the U19’s and U17’s finishing top of their groups. Both teams have both gone on to win the 1st games of the knockout stages. Now into the last 16. This afternoon if they win, it's the quarter finals tonight.
