Venue Hire Overview

The Shrub End Community and Sports Centre opened in April 2006.

This exciting facility is the result of a joint venture between Colchester Borough Council, Colchester United Community Sports Trust and their partners, the Football Foundation, Sport England, Cory Environmental Trust and the Colchester Crime & Disorder Partnership.

The facility offers some of the most sophisticated community and sports facilities in the county, including a 4th Generation Synthetic Turf Pitch, Grass Pitches, Meeting Rooms, Study Support Centre and Physiotherapy Suite.

My children had a wonderful time at your kids club over the summer with your wonderful staff. I can't thank you enough as I had previously struggled so much with tears elsewhere.
