Colchester United Community Sports Trust is helping to create football’s stars of tomorrow with this year’s Annual Summer Soccer Camps
The popular week-long camps give children aged 4 to 15 the chance to develop their skills and take part in competitions, challenges and World Cup style tournaments.
To offer further inspiration, the young players will also get to meet members of the Colchester United squad who will be on hand to offer advice and sign autographs.
The first of two Soccer Camps runs from 2 to 6 August at Shrub End Community and Sports Centre in Boadicea Way.
Outfield, goalkeeping and girls-only sections are available and everyone gets the chance to perfect their skills.
All players will also receive a free Colchester United Soccer Camp t-shirt and football.
Corin Haines, Football Development Manager, said: “The Annual Summer Soccer Camps are our biggest events of the year and are really popular with children of all ages. It’s great to have the involvement of the Colchester United squad as the young players love to meet them and find out what it’s like to be a professional footballer.”
A second Soccer Camp will take place at the same venue from 23 to 27 August.
