Exercise & Keeping Fit

Children should do 60 minutes of activity a day. Twice a week you need to try and do a minimum of 20 – 30 minutes of strenuous exercise.

Daily Activities could be:

  This can be done through out the day for example;

  1. 10 min walk to school
  2. 10 minute run around with fiends at break time
  3. 30 minute play time at  lunch time
  4. 10 minute walk home after school

Weekly activities could be:

  1. After school clubs like netball or football
  2. Out of school clubs like ‘fit kids’ (follow link)
  3. Most sports & Mulitisports programmes
  4. Brisk walking
  5. Swimming
  6. Dancing
  7. Cycling

Activity Goal

  1. Try and raise your lifestyle activity profile by choosing one of the sugested activities from the daily and weekly activities above.

Most of all have fun and find activities you enjoy with friends.

I love Soccer Kids. We play at the stadium and I learn all my favourite skills.
